Product Description
Love That Tea Cosy, by Moodie, Vicki (Australian)
British terminology crochet patterns
This book, BK54 (A4) Love That Tea Cosy, contains 5 tea cosy patterns crocheted in 8ply yarn. All are worked in 3 sizes to suit 2, 4 and 6 cup tea pots. This is the 4th book in our tea cosy range, the others being BK09 Keep it Cosy and BK44 (A4) Inspirational Tea Cosies (both knit and crochet) and BK32 Showtime Tea Cosies (all crochet).
The first cosy is a great project to use up those bits and pieces you have gathered over time. The main body of the cosy is worked sideways to create stripes of brilliant colours. The second pattern is completed over a lattice with frills providing the unusual "eyelid" appearance.
The unusual "roll-up your sleeves" style pattern provides 4 different patterns ALL to suit 2, 4 and 6 cup tea pots. All patterns provide the opportunity to add a roll up the bottom option and a top pocket option - so you can mix and match to achieve your desired effect. Pattern for plain liners are also included.
The fourth pattern features rows of clusters and provides full instructions for the basic colour scheme of the 4 cup cosy and the variations required to achieve the colour schemes for the 2 cup and 6 - 8 cup cosies.
The Trellis was inspired by a pattern from the Dec 1945 Australian Home Journal and although it appears difficult, the unusual cross over pattern really only has one row which is easily mastered.
The first 4 projects are from our range of individual crochet patterns.
This book is presented in A4 (210 x 297mm) format, with 120gsm quality gloss paper throughout to enhance the colour images.
