Most of this publication is an unabridged version of patterns from original Paragon books and has been reproduced using the latest laser scanning and digital printing technology.

With this collection of ever popular doilies, your crochet hook will be forever busy.  This book originally was known as popular reprint R2 which is a combination of the older A5 editions of Paragon Crochet Books No2 and No7.  We have added 2 doilies (Pineapple Luncheon Set and Classic Elegance) from Crochet Book No107 .  The previous A4 edition of R2 (with a similar cover to this edition) omitted the Rose of Sharon Doily because of errors and omissions within the pattern.  We have rectified this and now have great pictures and usable instructions so that you can enjoy making this classic (designed with the experienced crocheter in mind). 

5 of the patterns are presented as sets so there are multiple sizes within the patterns - great when making dressing table or buffet sets or just simple glass mats.  8 of the patterns use #40 cotton, 2 use #60 and the Rose of Sharon uses either #20 or #60 cotton.  As many people these days prefer #20 cotton we have provided instructions in the booklet so that you can calculate the finished size and quantity of thread required to crochet these beauties in #20 cotton.  Choose from the tiny (11.5cm) to the large (42cm) mats [even bigger using #20].  Lots of variety including the popular Party Manner (shown on the cover), Whirl-a-way with a windmill centre, The White Sapphire and the Crocheted Mat with the unusual cluster that would lend itself to variegated thread.  Hours of fun with these small to large doilies (20 in all) form the 11 included patterns.  Suitable for beginners to experienced - something for everyone!!
