Product Description

Fourteen Favourite Motifs - (Australian) Edited by Ray and Vicki Moodie

This book has been in the pipeline since 2002 when Vicki crocheted all of the designs in #20 cotton to proof the patterns and had them all retyped – but here it is at last – the 43rd and final book in the Paragon crochet series that we have managed to put back into print.

This book is a revised A4 sized edition of crochet book R1 Popular Reprint “A Collection of Favourite Medallions”, which was a combination of old books #3 and #8. These books have been out of print for decades. The original editions provided instructions for a single project for each motif using a specific thread (mostly #40 or #60 cotton), while we have provided additional information to try to enable you to use any size thread for any motif for any project (where practical).

The 14 motifs vary in size from 6cm to 12cm using original thread size of either #40 or #60 cotton but if using #20 cotton they will be somewhat larger. Shapes vary from square to circular with a variety of delicate patterns with and without picots and there is even one triangular shaped motif that presents a challenge. Some projects require fillers and these patterns are also provided with joining instructions.

Let your imagination loose on these motifs and design your own finished project.

I worked the pattern in 4 ply cotton and they worked beautifully. You could make a table cloth or a bedspread.
