BK55 (A4) Cosy Rugs to crochet for your Bub, contains 4 baby rugs using 3/4ply baby yarn and #5 perle cotton. 3 of the rugs are just over a metre square while the stunning pineapple design is circular and about 120cm in diameter. This is the 7^th book in our baby rugs and shawls range, the others being, BK18, BK20, BK34 (A4), BK35 (A4), BK51 (A4) and BK52 (A4).

The circular pineapple shawl uses #5 perle cotton and features an initial circle of 6 pineapples that gently evolves into 12, 18 and finally 24 pineapples and culminates in an interesting shell edge. The crossed shell stitch shawl, also in #5 perle cotton, employs a pattern of crossed shells forming bands of colour and is finished with a delicate edge. The Marshmallow Shawl in 3ply baby yarn resembles rows of marshmallows wedged between a background of V stitches forming a simple but effective pattern. The final rug in 4ply baby yarn is a unique corner to corner design using both granny square technique and rows of triangles to break up the trebles and finishes with a shell edge.

While these patterns appear difficult, we have included step by step instructions with diagrams or pictures where required to clarify the patterns and highlighted text for long repeats or to remind you to do something, so if you simply follow the instructions you should enjoy the journey and complete any of the rugs you choose.

This book is presented in A4 (210 x 297mm) format, with 120gsm quality gloss paper throughout to enhance the colour images.
